The Arts – Romeo & Juliet

As part of our independent living skills curriculum all students are taking part in sessions based around equality and diversity. Through acting out scenes from Romeo and Juliet students are developing communication skills. Students are encouraged to communicate using their preferred method of communication and have all had a great time acting out a variety of emotions, such as anger, fear, love and friendship.

Welcome Back! After a much needed Summer break, our students are all back, fresh faced and ready to start working towards their personal learning goals. Summer Fete

The biggest of thanks to everyone who attended and helped out at our annual Summer Fete yesterday. A grand total of over £450 was raised to help fund the centre and activities for our students. There was a wide range of stalls and events offering everything from sweets and beauty supplies to tombolas and even eye-gaze target practice! Sports Day Refreshments

A huge well done do all our hard working students and staff who organised the refreshments for Chadsgrove School’s sports day. On sale were scones, hot drinks, ice lollies, sweets and various other delicious treats. We were blessed with some absolutely scorching sunshine for the day which meant the colder items on sale went down a storm with our sun-kissed customers.

NEW: Daily Tuck Shop

Our Tasty Treats Tuck Shop enterprise scheme has stepped up its operations to include daily trips around Chadsgrove School selling a smaller range of produce. Using a custom built usherette tray, made from a recycled tray and straps, staff and students are hoping to increase profits by meeting the increasing demands of their customers.

Tuck Shop

Tasty Treats Tuck Shop, the student ran tuck shop service that sells tasty treats within Chadsgrove school is still going strong. Each week students are involved in preparing the treats, getting the trolley ready and selling the produce in school. All the profits go towards funding more fantastic activities within our college.
